West Bank – 12 Doors… But Shoot the Wrong Person and You Lose a Life | C64

️ West Bank (1987) – Commodore 64 Western Arcade Shoot ’Em Up Released in 1987 by Gremlin Graphics for the Commodore 64, West Bank is an arcade-style shoot ’em up inspired by Sega’s Bank Panic. Set in the Old West, the game puts you in the role of a sharp-eyed sheriff tasked with defending a busy frontier bank from bandits, troublemakers, and hidden threats. Gameplay revolves around twelve doors lining the bank interior, each opening to reveal a character whose intentions must be judged instantly. You must gun down outlaws who draw weapons, avoid shooting innocent customers, and stay alert for disguised dangers such as bombs concealed under hats. Quick reactions and accuracy are essential as the pace steadily increases. Between stages, the action shifts to tense duel sequences where you face off against three gunslingers in classic quickdraw showdowns.
