Tilt – The Codemasters C64 Puzzle That Made You Move the Entire Maze

️ Tilt (1990) – Commodore 64 Action Puzzle Marble Maze Released in 1990 by Codemasters, Tilt is a distinctive action-puzzle game for the Commodore 64 that puts physics and precision front and centre. You guide a marble through a series of maze-like levels by tilting the entire playfield, aiming to reach the exit without smashing into obstacles or running out of energy. Rather than moving the marble directly, the screen itself is rotated to influence momentum. As levels progress, the challenge increases with tighter layouts, gates, traps, and changes to the marble’s size, all of which demand careful control and forward planning rather than brute force reactions. Technically, Tilt is an impressive showcase for the C64. The marble physics feel convincing, movement is smooth, and the controls are responsive, making success feel earned rather than random.
