Poster Paster – The C64 Game That Made Putting Up Billboards Dangerous

️ Poster Paster (1984) – Commodore 64 Arcade-Style Platform Puzzle Released in 1984 by Taskset for the Commodore 64, Poster Paster is a quirky arcade-style platform game designed by Andy Walker, with music composed by Paul Hodgson. You play as Bill Stickers, a hard-working billboard poster racing against time to plaster advertisements across a series of increasingly hazardous cityscapes. Each fixed-screen level challenges you to position ladders and apply poster sections in the correct order, all while dodging a cast of mischievous troublemakers including Gnurds, Wazzocks, and Brain Drains. Careful planning is essential, as poor ladder placement or mistimed movement can quickly bring your shift to a sticky end. A unique twist comes in the form of the Paste Consistency Gauge, which forces you to manage how thick or thin your paste is before applying posters.
