Nippon Safes Inc. – Three Heroes, One Very Strange Amiga Adventure

️ Nippon Safes Inc. (1993) – Commodore Amiga Point-and-Click Adventure Classic Released in 1993 by Italian studio Dynabyte for the Commodore Amiga, Nippon Safes Inc. is a distinctive point-and-click adventure that blends European humour with a satirical take on Japanese pop culture. Set in the fictional city of Tyoko, the game follows three eccentric protagonists: Doug Nuts, a socially awkward safecracker; Dino Fagioli, a dim-witted former boxer; and Donna Fatale, a glamorous club dancer. Each character pursues their own storyline while becoming entangled in a larger criminal plot. The game runs on the Parallaction engine, allowing players to switch between characters and tackle puzzles from multiple perspectives. Progression is largely non-linear, with each storyline offering unique locations, challenges, and interactions. Gameplay uses an intuitive icon-based interface, encouraging exploration, item experimentation, and logical problem-solving. The interconnected narrative structure gives the adventure a dynamic, replayable feel.
