Miami Vice – One Million-Dollar Drug Deal, Four Days to Find Mr J on the C64

️ Miami Vice (1986) – Commodore 64 Action Crime Adventure Based on the TV Series Released in 1986 by Ocean Software for the Commodore 64 and developed by Canvas Software, Miami Vice is an action-adventure title inspired by the hugely popular 1980s television series. You take on the roles of detectives Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs as they attempt to dismantle a major drug operation led by the mysterious criminal known as “Mr. J.” Gameplay is split into two distinct sections. The first involves top-down driving sequences, where you navigate a city map to reach crime scenes and suspect hideouts. These segments are notoriously challenging, with awkward steering, tight time limits, and frequent crashes making navigation a major test of patience and precision. Once a destination is reached, the game shifts into side-scrolling action stages.
