Maria's Christmas Box

️ Maria’s Christmas Box (1988) – Commodore 64 Adult Strip Poker Curiosity Released in 1988 by Anco Software for the Commodore 64, Maria’s Christmas Box is an adult-themed strip poker game that arrived during the festive season, tapping into the popularity of celebrity-inspired titles of the era. The game features British model Maria Whittaker, well known to Commodore fans for her appearance in Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior. Gameplay centres on a one-on-one strip poker match, with Maria initially dressed in a Santa Claus outfit to fit the Christmas theme. You wager credits, bluff, and trade clothing items in familiar fashion, closely following the mechanics established in Anco’s earlier Strip Poker II+. Two difficulty levels are available, with the harder mode offering a more aggressive and challenging AI opponent. Presentation is basic, using static pixel artwork, limited animation, and a very simple interface built around the standard C64 system font.
