Fist II – The Fighting Sequel That Became a 100-Screen C64 Adventure

️ Fist II: The Legend Continues (1986) – Commodore 64 Martial Arts Adventure Hybrid Released in 1986 by Melbourne House and developed by Beam Software, Fist II: The Legend Continues takes the foundations of The Way of the Exploding Fist and expands them into a far more ambitious experience. Rather than a straight sequence of duels, you’re dropped into a sprawling island adventure where exploration and combat are equally important. You travel across jungles, caves, villages, and ancient temples in search of sacred scrolls, with martial arts battles breaking out whenever rivals challenge your progress. Combat features a deep move set, rewarding timing and technique, while each opponent demands a slightly different approach to win. Between fights, the game slows the pace deliberately, encouraging exploration, memory, and careful route planning. Progression comes not just from winning battles, but from meditation, learning new techniques, and collecting the scrolls needed to unlock the game’s true ending.
