Donald Duck’s Playground – Donald Had to Work FOUR Jobs to Build It on the C64

️ Donald Duck’s Playground (1984) – Commodore 64 Educational Mini-Game Collection Released in 1984 by Sierra On-Line for the Commodore 64, Donald Duck’s Playground is an educational game designed to blend classic Disney character appeal with light problem-solving and learning. You take control of Donald Duck as he works a series of everyday jobs to earn money for building a playground for his nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. The gameplay is split into a collection of mini-games set across different workplaces, including a greengrocer’s shop, a toy store, a railroad switchboard, and an airport cargo terminal. Each location introduces its own mechanics, from sorting vegetables and stocking shelves to directing trains and matching cargo codes under time pressure. Money earned from each job is carefully managed and spent on playground equipment such as swings and slides, which are then placed piece by piece to complete the final goal.
