About the Game
️ Caveman Ugh-Lympics (1988) – Commodore 64 Prehistoric Multi-Event Sports Comedy Released in 1988 by Dynamix and published by Electronic Arts for the Commodore 64, Caveman Ugh-Lympics is a tongue-in-cheek sports game that reimagines the Olympic Games through a prehistoric lens. Packed with slapstick humour and over-the-top animation, it turns athletic competition into pure caveman mayhem. The game features six distinct events, each with its own mechanics and timing challenges. From outrunning a rival while a saber-toothed tiger gives chase, to spinning and launching your partner in the absurd Matetoss, every event puts reflexes and precision to the test. Other contests include frantic fire-starting, brutal clubbing duels, dinosaur racing, and pole-vaulting over a very unimpressed Tyrannosaurus rex. Large, expressive sprites and exaggerated animations give the game its unmistakable personality, while simple sound effects reinforce the lighthearted tone.
