Card Sharks – Could You Beat the C64’s Money Cards Round?

️ Card Sharks (1988) – Commodore 64 Card & Casino Collection | Retro Classic Card Sharks (1988), developed and published by Accolade and designed by Mike Lorenzen, is a multi-game card simulation for the Commodore 64 featuring several popular casino classics. You can choose between poker (including five-card draw, seven-card stud, and Texas Hold ’Em), hearts, and blackjack, competing against up to three computer-controlled opponents. Opponents are drawn from a cast of quirky characters, including political figures and comic personalities, each adding humour and personality to the matches. Success depends on skill, bluffing, and risk management in poker, careful trick-avoidance in hearts, and disciplined play against the dealer in blackjack. The game features well-drawn character graphics and expressive animations, giving opponents visual reactions to wins and losses, while simple sound effects keep the focus on gameplay.
