Booty – 20 Pirate Holds, Exploding Treasure and One Vicious Parrot on C64

️ Booty (1984) – Commodore 64 Pirate Platform Adventure Classic Released in 1984 by Firebird and developed by Kevin A. Moughtin, Booty is a classic platform adventure that casts you as Jim the Cabin Boy, sneaking around a pirate ship to steal treasure from his ruthless masters. Set entirely aboard the ship, the game challenges you to outwit pirates and hazards across a network of interconnected rooms. Gameplay takes place on fixed-screen platform layouts linked by ladders and doors. Each of the 20 rooms is packed with treasure to collect, alongside roaming pirates, parrots, and dangerous booby-trapped items that must be avoided at all costs. Contact with enemies is unforgiving, costing one of Jim’s limited lives. Once all treasure in a room has been collected, the pressure ramps up with a strict 45-second countdown to locate a final key and escape to the next area.
