Cookie Policy
The site keeps optional analytics and advertising technologies switched off until you make a choice. Essential storage remains available so the archive and your selected mode can work.
1. What this policy covers
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, tracking pixels, scripts and identifiers that store or access information on a device. This policy describes how Cheeky Commodore Gamer uses those technologies.
2. Categories used by the site

3. Storage currently used
- ccg-consent-v1: local browser storage containing the consent version, optional categories selected and the date of the decision.
- ccg-mode: local browser storage remembering whether the visitor selected C64 or Amiga presentation mode.
- Authentication and security storage: may be used when a visitor signs in to community or member features.
- Google Analytics storage: is permitted only after the visitor enables analytics.
The website may also use cookieless aggregate traffic measurement. Such measurement is used for broad site statistics rather than cross-site advertising profiles, but it is still described in the Privacy Policy.
4. How to change your choice
Select Privacy choices in the footer at any time. Rejecting non-essential technologies keeps analytics and advertising disabled. Saving new preferences replaces the earlier decision for that browser.
Browser settings can also remove stored data or block cookies. Blocking all storage may prevent mode preferences, authentication and other requested features from working.
5. Third-party websites
Following links to YouTube, Patreon, PayPal, Amazon, Discord, social networks or other external services takes you to systems controlled by those providers. Their cookies and privacy choices are governed by their own policies.

Optional consent is not required to browse the game archive. Reject and accept controls are presented with equal access, and a later choice can be changed through the footer.
